Our story & our people

About Wonga Park CRC

What we believe, and who leads our church family.

What we believe

Rooted in Scripture, shaped by the Reformed tradition

We believe that the Bible is the full and complete, inerrant Word of God.

We affirm the reality of human sinfulness and our need for salvation, found only through Jesus Christ. In response, we seek to live for God in all that we do, with thanksgiving and gratitude, not to earn His favour, but because of it.

We celebrate two sacraments: baptism and the Lord's Supper (Communion), as visible signs of God's grace toward His people.

Our confessional standards

We stand with the historic church

Alongside Scripture, we affirm the ecumenical creeds and the Reformed "Three Forms of Unity", confessions that have guided the church for centuries.

We're part of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia (CRCA), a denomination of about 50 congregations, established since 1951, in the Protestant, Calvinist, Reformed wing of the Christian church.
